Cécile’s Story

An eternal dreamer from childhood, inspired and awed by the curious sounds, palpitating vibes and visions from her surroundings, in all the cities she’s been residing and travelling to, the artist in Cécile was born. 

Cécile is a contemporary visual and mixed-media artist. Her work reflects her deep connection with the places and people she encounters, capturing the essence and unique beauty of urban landscapes.

Born in Vietnam and raised in France, Cécile developed a fascination with the urban landscape at a young age. She is a self-taught artist, enlightened by the metropolis and urban lifestyles, which she incorporates into her work. 

In Singapore, Cécile interweaves the cross-cultural worlds of life, where people are all interconnected regardless of culture, religion, race, or beliefs. 

From her provincial home in the southeastern part of France, she continues to absorb the influences of her French heritage and integrates them into her latest inspirational creations.

She is also a gifted and passionate teacher, therapeutic art coach and educator and certified sex coach.

She now lives in the vibrant city state of Singapore, known as the Lion City

About Cécile’s Artwork

Cécile’s art is a reflection of her global perspective and her passion for exploring the intersection of nature and urbanism.  It embodies her deep connections with cities and people she encounters.

Her artworks have been created using a variety of mixed media as a medium, ranging from wire, sand, feathers, wood and fabric etc. Combined with techniques of acrylics, watercolours, mixed media and digital art exploration, she creates vibrant, dynamic works that capture the essence of the city. 

Her love of using vibrant colours and contrasting shades and textures, comes from her belief that they help sprak creativity and imagination, igniting a powerful energy that allows her to come up with bold compositions. 

New York, Shanghai, Cape Town, London and now Singapore, are places that have inspired her stunning art portfolio.
